Yield: 1 serving
1/2 inch fresh or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 inch fresh or 1/2 teaspoon
1/4 ripe avocado, peeled with pit removed
1/2 fresh or frozen banana, peeled
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
3/4 cup almond or oat milk
1/2 cup spinach
3 dates, dried and pitted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup filtered water
4-6 ice cubes
1 scoop protein powder (optional)
- If using fresh ginger and turmeric, peel skin off with a spoon or a sharp knife.
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Top with ground cinnamon and serve immediately.
