ingredients
- 1/2 inch fresh or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 inch fresh or 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 ripe avocado, peeled with pit removed
- 1/2 fresh or frozen banana, peeled
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 3/4 cup almond or oat milk
(unsweetened) - 1/2 cup spinach
- 3 dates, dried and pitted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 4-6 ice cubes
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
Directions
- If using fresh ginger and turmeric, peel skin off with a spoon or a sharp knife.
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Top with ground cinnamon and serve immediately.
